Area: Puglia region in southern Italy. Primitivo, also known as Zinfandel in many other countries in the world, has been grown for millennia.

Color: Red

Description: Deep, rich red color.

Type: Made from the traditional blend of 40% Malvasia di Candia, 30% Malvasia del Lazio.

Taste: Lovely combination of berry fruits and spices, which burst out of the glass, smooth, well balanced with soft tannins.

Aroma: Lovely with notes of berry and cherry fruit.

Alcohol: 13.5%

Aging: 5 months in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Food: Pairs well with pasta, red meat, pizza margherita and mature cheese.

Temperature: 64˚-68˚ Fahrenheit, 18˚-20˚ Celsius.
